The Flint tip tanks hold an impressive 30 USG of fuel, 15 USG a side which makes all the difference for cross-country travelling, not only do you get extra endurance but the Flint tip tanks offer a better climb performance due to the extended wing span and also an increase in around 4 knots of speed.
Equipped with a high-performance engine, sturdy construction, and spring-steel landing gear, G-DVTA is suitable for various operators, including those in aerial photography, surveillance, passenger transport, cargo, and private use. In addition, the optional Synthetic Vision System (SVS) which this 206 has, enhances the Garmin G1000’s Integrated Avionics System by providing a forward-looking attitude display of the terrain ahead of the aircraft. Another special feature on TA is the additional avionics which include a backup DME, ADF and a Nav 2 box - this is coupled to the analogue CDI which is excellent added redundancy should you need to fly an instrument approach or to give a position fix if the PFD was to fail. What's more she has TKS ice protection fitted, this is on the leading edges, struts, tailplane and elevator along with a hot prop.
