Description
|
The Columbia 400 is a modern, composite airframe certified in the Utility category, with cuffed wings and fixed undercarriage. It is equipped with what is acknowledged to be one of the best Continental engines, the TSIO-550C Platinum Edition, with two turbochargers, intercoolers, sloped wastegate controller, developing 310 HP at 2600 RPM. It has a certified ceiling of 25.000 feet.
It is an easy aeroplane to fly with the sidestick throughout the whole envelope. Thanks to the sloped wastegate controller, engine management is also easy.
