Introducing Passero - the all-metal, single seat ultralight that is designed to take the ssdr market in the UK and the Part 103 market in the USA by storm.
Constructed mainly from 6061-t6 aluminum, Passero is a sleek and sturdy aircraft that boasts superior strength and durability. The cockpit gage and engine mount are crafted from 4130 chromoly steel, ensuring that this aircraft is built to last. Using the latest technology, Passero has been designed entirely in Solidworks, with stress analysis for the wings and tail carried out in Nastran. This has resulted in a cutting-edge aircraft that is packed with features, including cutting files for laser, drawings, and assemblies. Tooling, including forming tool drawings, is also included.
Designed with ease of assembly in mind, Passero is a kit plane that can be put together without the need for jigs. The kit features match hole design, ensuring that all parts are compatible and easy to assemble. The fuselage is designed with a width of 70cm in the pilot's seat, which allows for easy conversion to a two-seater by changing the top and lower surfaces.
Passero features a single aluminum bar landing gear and pushrod controls for the ailerons and elevator. Bolts are aviation grade in inch, ensuring that this aircraft is built to the highest safety standards. For added convenience, the wings can be optionally folding type. All parts are p/n assigned, making it easy to keep track of everything during assembly.
The Passero prototype includes a fuselage ready to install controls, tail surfaces, and a left wing assembled and ready for static load testing. A jig for the cockpit gage, wing struts, windshield, all Solidworks drawings, and MDF forming tools are also included, as well as an extra wing spar for testing.
