||Robin DR300 - Subaru 6 Cylinder / Variable Pitch Prop. (180 HP @ 2700 RPM)
Elegant 4-seater and ideal ´mid-size´ VFR travel aircraft - with 180 hp performance rather ´a wolfe in sheep´s clothes´.
With the liquid-cooled Subaru 6-cylinder boxer engine and MT variable pitch propeller, this Robin DR300 is an interesting combination of the design of Mr. Delemontez from the 50's with a proven car engine of the 21st century.
Very efficient aircraft in wood construction with surprising flight performance and excellent handling. Cruise ca. 120+ KT TAS at approx. 27,5 Ltrs Fuel Flow in 2500 FT MSL. Endurance of 6 hrs plus reserve, 4 seats plus luggage compartment.
Engine is 180 HP, 3 litres liquid-cooled Subaru 6-cylinder boxer engine with injection and MTV-18 electric controllable pitch propeller.
601 KG empty weight, 999 KG MTOW. Payload approx. 300 KG at 135 l fuel (Mogas).
The aircraft is approved in the Dutch experimental category and can be operated in all ECAC countries (EU plus other countries). EASA guidelines do not require any CAMO and engine spare parts and overhaul costs are approx. 1/4 of the usual. Maintenance, annual inspection can be carried out by the owner.
